Total Activity and MGO: five questions before comparing numbers

Ask what exactly was measured, which organism or chemical marker was used, which method and reference standard were applied, whether the result was generated for this lot, and whether the comparison is a laboratory conclusion or a brand’s marketing interpretation.

These questions matter because MGO–activity relationships can differ by organism, and activity assays can be influenced by the test format.
